Is it possible to convert MBA into a simple bluetooth input device?

I want to buy a Mac Mini, but can't satisfy with the separated keyboard and track pad. Similar with this post: Why doesn't Apple have a Trackpad/Keyboard Combo?

I search on Amazon and only find this: Adesso 2.4 GHz RF Wireless SlimTouch Mini Keyboard with Touchpad , but it does not support the multi-touch for Mac OS X.

I think the experience of inputing on MacBook Air 11" is perfect for me. The keyboard and trackpad is very near to operate without moving my hand in too long distance. Even if I bought a Mac keyboard and trackpad and layout them like MBA, the battery size of trackpad still makes the distance with keyboard much longer.

MBA is a complete computer, so I am thinking is there a way to divide it into parts, one which only contain the keyboard, trackpad panel, with battery and blue tooth module. Then it can pretend to be a blue tooth input device. And more better to combine the left things into a Mac Mini.

There's a product from Twelve South called the Magic Wand. http://store.apple.com/us/product/H3443Z...

This will let you split the trackpad and keyboard. It would be a shame to use a Macbook Air just as a peripheral device.

I think I have completely made my opinion clear in my question. I don't want to move my hand to the right side to use touchpad.

If I just got a no use MBA which has problem in main board and screen and hard to mend, why not try to remake it as experiment.
