Background and Identification

This is powered by an 18 volt NiCd battery. The batteries have in recent years been upgraded to Lithium batteries. The NiCd batteries are known to lose battery life over time. Dewalt has never recalled this device.

Features of this device are as follows: a blade release for easy blade replacement, a variable speed trigger, a saw blade cover for safety.
