Background and Identification
The Lenovo ThinkPad X280 is portable laptop originally released in November 2008. This device is identified by the name ThinkPad on the back of the monitor and the inside with a red dot above the letter ‘i.’ The device’s model “X280” is displayed at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. There is a red dot in the middle of the keyboard used as a mouse as well as an accent line of red across the top of the mousepad. There is a finger print scanner to the right of the mousepad.
This device offers a 8th Generation Intel Core I7 with vPro processor, a Windows 10 Pro operating system, 16GB DDR4 of memory, and a 12.5” FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS anti-glare display. It weighs in at 2.98 pounds and measures at 12.1 x 8.3 x 0.7 inches while being the thinnest and lightest X200-series laptop yet. It has a finger print scanner to protect the user’s privacy and multiple USB ports to allow for optimal connection.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X280 was discontinued.
