Identification and Background
The Linksys WRT54G was first released in December 2002. This device page is for one of the earlier models. The easiest way to identify if this if your model is from the antennas. The antennas on this device are removable, a measure to be more cost efficient. It is 2.4 GHz and has a four port switch.
The rectangular body is comprised of two attached pieces, two antennas, five inputs located on the back, a display board in the front, and four feet. The back piece of the device is black and has two of the feet and many small holes on the top. The front piece of the device is blue and has the other two feet and the display board.
