i was also having same problem like this twice but it's is soo easy to installed my psp go. this is the black screen of the psp go is nothing wrong but i have used the new display ribbon cable & i have change it. there was only problem was my display ribbon cable which was little bit cut off when i fall down my psp go & i buy it from eachgame.com at us$ 14.59.
the screen remain black because the ribbon cable have been damaged by falling down so i suggest every psp go user to change the ribbon cable when u having black screen but ur psp should respond & indicate the green light & it should be on when u on ur psp go for a while
