Got a screw that is striped

Hi all I have a problem and was wondering if anyone else had this.

Was repairing a 4s today and the screw on the battery connector was completely striped and I was at it for a hour with no joy. I've heard of people using a little bit of glue but I don't think it's possible as the screw seems to tight.

Was wondering if I let the battery die could I take out the motherboard and battery and the speaker in one peice as the reception wire is attached to the motherboard aswel.
