rear camera is black

Happy new year.

I have changed the charging port and home button to an iphone 4s and rear camera after testing is not working!!!!

It is completely black although it shows the choises on the bottom (video camera etc) and you could swap to the front camera which is working. The shutter on the rear camera is not anywhere and that makes me worry. I have done restore and hard reset but still nothing. Do you thing if I will change the camera it will work? Thanks
