I find the best way is to arc/bow as much of the cable into the ipad side housing, affix the LCD screws while holding the digi at 90 degrees,

then fold it over softly to fit it to ipad so right side is even and touches your adhesive softly, then use a soft flat head type tool at the left corner to poke and straighten the last bit of the digi cable, applying soft downward pressure on the digi till icable goes into the space between the lcd, u will feel when it goes in. then apply pressure around the edges for your adhesive tape.
