Is the LCD Digitizer assembly interchangeable?

Hi,

I bought an apple watch sport 42mm off eBay and now i'm trying to repair it myself.

The screen is cracked and the OLED/LCD is also damaged, touch was still working though.

My next step would be buying another cheap apple watch and swapping the lcd/glass and force touch gasket. Does anybody know if this is possible or are any of the units somehow digitaly linked to the rest of the apple watch?
