Try checking if your speaker is charging when it is plugged in.  To make sure it is charging, there will be an orange light that appears next to the word charge. If it does not appear, you could have a faulty charger. If your speaker simply does not hold the charge, there could be a problem with your battery. It could have come to the end of it's life span.
