The background agent may be responsible for remapping keys and physical buttons.  To restore the original functions of the keys, you will have to disable them. Open the Task Manager by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.  Click Advanced View and select the Startup tab.  From here, find Background Agent (Acer) and disable it. Restart the device.
