I get this error every few minutes and the audio from the external speaker doesn't work except for the alarm clock. The external speaker will begin to work only when docked. Audio from the headphone jack still works fine all the time though.

The issue started happening about two days after a water incident. I was at work in the basement with the phone in my jean pocket and had to run through a little water that was spraying over the walkway from a broken pipe. I only got a little wet but now after researching the error and seeing how it could be related to water damage, Im thinking some water may have got inside the connector because it had a greenish look to it.

After cleaning the connector out and wiping the green away, many resets, and restoring the phone I still have the same issue. From comments around the web, I've read that simply cleaning the connector got rid of the error for a lot of people.

Was wondering what further steps should I take, and if I was to open the phone, where could the source of the issue be, other than the connector itself???
