I drop my phone like most people do occasionally.
Unfortunately the last fall resulted in a flickering white screen at first and now a solid white screen with the occasional green or grey line when interrupted.
I've gone about searching for repair shops (will be checking one tomorrow) and was advised by the first to sync all my media files to Itunes for storage.
However, when I try to sync the phone with my cpu, I get a message saying that it can't sync the device because the device is powered down.
I'm probably not meant to understand all of this and the reasons why but if the device is on and functions in every other way possible with the exception of the LCD, shouldn't my iphone be able to sync? Does this have anything to do with the motherboard? Is this easy to repair or is my wallet doomed?
