How do I replace a wooden chair leg?

I bought a used kitchen chair that’s missing a leg. The original owner no longer had the chair leg. Does anyone have advice for how best to buy and install a chair leg to the appropriate length? The original chair legs are at a slight slant. Pictures of the chair included below!
