I just received a Macbook Pro early 2015 13” 820 4924-A 004 board… Customer said the fan was running loud for awhile and than eventually the macbook shut down and didn’t turn on since. I’ve tried a new dc in board, a new battery, and new charging cable and still dead and no light….
However, i measured voltage on the dc in jack pin 1 and 2 has 16.5 volts and pin 6 has 0.. I checked pin 6 on another board the same and 3volts is present… Is this the sensre circuit or g3hot circuit blown?
How do i go about measuring this as im new to board level repairing. What components do i check and what might cause a bad sense circuit?
