First off all never use rice again. It doesn’t do anything. The very first thing you want to do when your phone comes in contact with water is turn it off. You then need to take the phone apart and clean the board with 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. Then you let it dry out for around 24 hours put it back together and hope for the best.
