I’ve had this happen a few times, it comes down to these from highest priority to lowest:
* Quality of the screen (glass thickness)
* Tightening the screws a bit for the home button
* Bend the metal plate on the home button to adjust the height of the home button.

If you fit a tempered glass screen protector on the phone most of the time this is nothing to worry about as you most likely won’t be able to feel it with the protector on.

Applying a tempered glass screen protector can hide this gap and it won’t feel as bad when pressing the home button.
