Different coloured lines followed by jumping images now

So, it all started with seeing different coloured vertical lines - green, red, blue. Post that we could see greyish, white horizontal line at the top of the screen and this was intermittent.
Now the entire image has gone. It jumps and can see only greyish, white bands on the screen. So has panel given way or any component in the unit.
The unit is out of warranty and alas, the company guys were insistent on changing the panel, which I feel is still good.
