My UE BOOM 2 will work only when charger connected

Hello everyone,
So my problem is that my UE BOOM2 has to be connected to a charger to work, once disconnected it doesn't power off completely :
The speaker and the lights turn off after 2 or 3 seconds, but i still can see it connected in my phone and the music playing without any sound going out from the speaker and the lights are off.
That's why i dont think it's the battery, cause if it is, it should completely power off shouldn't it?
Or does the battery manage to power the Bluetooth module and not the speaker and the leds? Which is weird.. Anyway thank you for your insights.
