You may have a faulty battery.
Create a [https://www.windowscentral.com/generate-battery-report-windows-10|Win 10 battery report] to check on the condition of the battery.
If it is determined that the battery needs replacing here’s the [http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04887250|maintenance and service guide] for the laptop.
Go to p.40 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the battery.
-Also at the top of p.40 you will find the part number for the battery. if you search online using the ''part number only'' in the search term of your browser, you’ll get results for suppliers of the battery
