This is a common issue and was recalled and they fixed it for up to a certain time. They won't fix it anymore. It's an easy fix. The problem is that gyro on the camera is bad. Just replace the camera and it should work fine. If you do the repair yourself just make sure to unhook the battery before you do any work. You will also need to unhook the cables for the screen to get to the camera. The connectors pop back together like legos make sure they are connected tight. Make sure you mark which screw you take out and the spot it came out of. There are different lengths of screws and if you put the wrong screw in the wrong hole it can damage the motherboard and be extremely expensive to repair it it can be repaired at all. You will need a a screwdriver set for apple including a pentalobe screwdriver. You should be able to buy the part and the tools for around 25 to 30 dollars. Watch the repair videos, it's not that hard to do. I taught myself to repair iPhones after having a stroke a year and eight months ago, I was a mechanic before so I just switched to smaller items.
