This has nothing to do with software; it has been caused by technician damage. The person that replaced the screen has nudged or knocked of one or more components around the battery connector. There are two mosfets, two diodes and one resistor, if any have been nudged it will cause the problem you are having.
If you have a magnifying glass you can confirm this. Check the ones with red on them.
