I repaired a 43P20US TCL smart tv right side darker and eco setting on would make the screen go black at 4 sec intervals.  Checked power supply okay.  Secondly I decided to go straight to TCON board it was pretty dusty so decided to clean connections with pencil eraser. Retested and solved both issues.  Hope this helps.
