Hi,
-With the game console turned on, try shining a torch at an angle close tothe screen and check if you can detect any images at all.

They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.

As a DIY repair all you can do if there is no display and the display flex cable is secured OK is to replace the LCD display and check. If it works it was the screen, if not then it is the motherboard.
Replacement LCD screens are available online. Just search for ''Sony PSP Go LCD screen'', to get results for suppliers that suit you.
