If so connect it across the red and black wires and you should get a resistance measurement. It should be the same for both fans.
I find it interesting (odd?) that the red and yellow wires seem to be reversed where they enter the fan. The wire colour arrangement at the plug end seems to be identical.

The yellow wire is the sensor wire and if it were reversed with the battery wire (red wire) the fan wouldn't operate.

I am loathe to suggest that you gently peel off the label in the centre of the fan to see if you can see anything as this would void any warranty from the seller.
