So installed Arc driver and in the events log for the driver says “igfxnd” had trouble starting. But never says “it is started.” I think this has something to do with my VIVE Cosmos Elite VR set not being detected as the display configuration it is. Windows10 seems to thing the VR set needs a “flat panel monitor (60hz)” driver for generic monitors. So I also read in the MSKB that SecureBoot can be disabled to allow installation of some GPU cards. So I did disable SB, and reinstalled the Arc Driver 4148. But didn’t do a thing. Did the DDU thing because the machine came with a Nvidia RYX3050. Still no workie. I down-graded from Win11 to Win10, cuz less bloatware interfering with gaming. I really don’t care about all that productivity MS keeps forcing on you. If I were an office person, then no prob. But I’m a gamer, hence the Nitro50 advertisement. O also learned TPM is not a standard component on retail Motherboards, so is this really that necessary for my machine? Inside the machine most everything says Intel except for the Realtek sound driver. And I also cannot turn on memory integrity. Don’t know why I need a Broadcom bluetooth driver when I am not even connecting my phone to the machine. Gamers use Discord, and phones to chat with their friends.
Do I need to find some sort of key to add to the TPM to install my Intel Arc A770? I don’t play old games and why I got the Intel. I play F1 2022, and all that driver stuff. 300fps in F1 2022, but no VR. No Intel Arc driver “completely installed (then why does it even work?)”
