How to fix Windows search bar to show existing programs/applications?

So far, I have not been able to get any results in the Windows search bar when searching for Notepad nor Word (Microsoft Word). These programs/applications do exist on my operating system (Windows 10), but only when I open an existing document (.txt file for Notepad and .docx file for Word). I do not know what other programs/applications have also been affected, but I am afraid that it will continue in the future.[br]

Has anyone else also experienced this? Does anyone know how to resolve this?
