There’s an adjustable fulcrum which allows the contact spring cam to.....well, camber.
On a well calibrated assembly, the spring would last several years before eventually getting hot enough to bend. By adjusting the screw in, increasing the height of the fulcrum, I was able to get mine operational again. To access this adjuster, you must remove the lock actuator assembly from the lock/mounting assembly. (Remove the grey part from the black part)
I only went as in depth as I did, after a new part did not fix the issue.
