Yes, the marked area, i.e. the interface of the plastic and the metal part of the brewing unit, is a very frequent place of leakage for the Inissia.
It doesn't seem to be due to a defective o-ring.
-Rather, ass to my understanding from some youtube videos, the temperature and/or pressure cycling during operation leads to deforming of the plastic part over the course of time.
