I have not a solution to the "Clean Cycle" only that I wish it had a visible indicator that would show the countdown toward the 45th washing cycle. Twice I have put detergent and my laundry in and as stated above and there is no way to bypass the "Clean Cycle".

I have not a solution to the "Clean Cycle" only that I wish it had a visible indicator that would show the countdown toward the 45th washing cycle. Twice I have started the laundry and it was interrupted. There seems to be no way to bypass the "Clean Cycle". Below is instruction from Maytag. There was another option to reset to the washing cycle; however, it did not work accordingly at least when I tried it 3x.

To bypass the Affresh cycle on a Maytag washer, simply press the “Cancel” or “Drain/Spin” button to skip the cleaning cycle and proceed with a regular wash cycle.
