Ya I had that same broblem no service, serching

When you hook the batter up with the small screw next to I there's a small cable unplug that cable and make sure is really plugged in there good. It kind of pain in the ##$ getting it plugged in there right but that should solve the ploblem that cable powers up the antenna of the phone.
