@tor_w is the backlight keyboard on and if so are the fans spinning fast then slow down and spinning fast again? If so try disconnecting the battery, hold the power button for 40-60 seconds to drain any residual power from the motherboard. Press and Hold windows Key + B key while you press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds then release all the keys. Just went through a similar issue with my laptop. Hope this helps.
