Use the [document|41518] and your PDF readers search function to locate the component to check (i.e. C8144) on your main circuit board. Measure the values listed and replace/repair as needed. This is for the charging only. If you look at the flowchart you see that they have one IC in common and that is U8031. Samsung part number for that is 1203-009156 and it is referred to as the Power Supervisor IC the actual IC is a MAX77705C and it is readily available at many online places. Probe around that one.
