Water Damaged MotoG Generation1 Turns On But Touch Screen Doesn't Work
My phone was dropped in water and it turned off. As to the fact Motorola doesn't allow this phones battery to be removed, I left it off and stuck it in a bag of rice for a day. The phone will now turn on, but the screen looks like there's still water in it. I tried to turn it off so it could dry another day or two, but the screen doesn't react. The next thing I tried was holding the power button so it would go off, but of course its a reset button so it keeps turning on. The volume and lock screen buttons work fine. I'm getting a new phone soon, but there are very dear photos to me and I was wondering if I can somehow recover them even if the screen doesn't work after another day or two of being in rice.
Is this a good question?
