Can't update Android MediaTek T106 from 2G to 4G

I got two MediaTek T106 devices from a Jlinksz as manufacturer. The company making this device promised Android 9, DecaCore ROM & 512GB storage. The advertisement was false. I don't know how to upgrade the tablets from KitKat 9.1 ARM7 processor even to Android Marshmallow or higher. I would like to get it working on Android9, eventually, and actually have DECA core ROM and a true 512GB RAM.

Currently, this device is not able to upgrade or update from 2G to 3G/4G data speeds because the OS is likely too old or there is need for another chipset. So, many Google Play Apps are not able to download, like Google Drive, Google Docs or even Zoom meetings. Zoom meetings require 4G speeds now to not buffer so much. I don't like downloading so many APKs.

These things will require someone knowledgeable to give me step by step instructions and possibly even programming from PLUM tablets or others using MediaTek chipsets. The current programs on it are not so user friendly when it comes to adding & removing apps (there is not a link to remove apps from tablet on the device).

For anyone who is able to tell me whether I will need new hardware and what new programming to get or which manual could be used on this device, I would like to know. I have the Droid Info Report I could privately message some one. But please help me actually get my tablets upgraded to where they are supposed to be and useful for what I bought them for. I may even need to send them to someone to fix for me and even to program and checking programming to ensure no Chinese Spyware in my device because of the deliberate false advertising given to the equipment. There is actually no real brand name, but the MediaTek logo coming up on the screen.

Can anyone help me, please?

@lucascat MediaTek T106 device actually looks, sounds and cross references to a Mediatek ZH960. “The company making this device promised Android 9, DecaCore ROM & 512GB storage” the specs for that are actually

RAM 1024 MB (970 MB available)

Flash 0.500 GB; 16 GB (14.532 GB actual) or 4 GB (3.832 GB actual)

Those could easily be one of the hacked device that will display better specs than what is actually inside. They are not well supported (if at all), and the only way to update would be via the manufacturer's updates. Now, you can check at places like this and see if that will work for you. Ultimately I do not think that this “I would like to get it working on Android9, have DECA core ROM and a true 512GB RAM (no way), update from 2G to 3G/4G, will be a success.
