Use my MacBook's display as monitor (Motherboard is dead)

My MacBook's Motherboard is dead. I got a new one so I want to use it as a monitor for my pc.

Unfortunately, you cannot use the full MacBook itself as a display as the motherboard controls and powers the display.

However, you can get aftermarket display drivers for the screen itself. If you can find the model of display panel, we could go from there, but that would require dismantling the laptop.

What you could do is rip out the MacBook, salvage working bits like storage, usb boards etc, and put the driver inside the now hollow Mac. So the screen would function as a display but it would look like a normal Mac.
