Dec OLED won't turn on without charger

Hello! The deck does not turn on without plug-in charging, games work fine, the battery shows 100% charge, I only used the original charger, the green indicator is on when it is off, what could it be?

I'm wondering if your battery cable became unseated. Has your device been taken apart recently?

I didn’t take it apart myself, it was new out of the box, it’s only a week old

When it’s new and showing these kind of issues. Always use your warranty and get a new one.

Anyway, to answer this. It’s the battery which is having a defect or the battery it’s cable.

As for the Steam Deck OLED, the cable is fused with the battery, so you need to replace the battery to get it fixed.

But again,, since you still have warranty on it, return it and get yourself a new one.
