Background and Identification
The 1995-2001 Honda CRVs are the first generation of Honda's in-house designed SUV. The US didn't see the CRV until the Chicago car show in 1996 and wasn't selling the CRV until early 1997. Some features available on this car include a choice of Honda's B20B or B20Z engines, ABS and a choice between front wheel drive or Honda's Real Time Four Wheel Drive. An SE edition, offered in 2000, upped the ante by also offering CD/Cassete deck, rear privacy glass, a Navtech navigation system, leather upholstery and a few cosmetic touch ups.
