Apple’s MagSafe charger

The MagSafe Phone charger makes wireless charging easier. Magnetically aligned with the location of the device's wireless charging coil, the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro provides up to 15W output for fast charging and low heat wireless charging.

The MagSafe charger is compatible with devices that support traditional Qi wireless charging, enabling wireless charging of iPhone 8 and later as well as AirPods wireless charging case models, as in Qi-certified chargers.

However, the position alignment through magnets, which is the advantage of MagSafe compared to the existing wireless charging, is only available for iPhone 12 and later models.

Apple's officially recommended charging adapter for use with the MagSafe charger is the 'Apple Genuine 20W USB-C Power Adapter'.
