The Dell Inspiron 15r 5521 is a laptop computer built for office use. It was released by Dell in 2013. it came with some CPU and GPU variants with this model. In the European Markets, they offered the Intel Core I3-3217U with the Intel HD graphics 4000 (449 euros), and one with the AMD Radeon HD 7670M (499 euros). One with the Intel Core I5-3317U and Radeon HD 7670M as well (549-599 euros), they have the most expensive model with the 15 3317U and Radeon HD 8730M (649 euros). The internal memory was 4 gigabytes to 8. It can support Windows 7 up to Windows 10 64-bit. It comes with two USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a network port, a headphone jack, an optical drive for CDs, and a security cable slot. Based on the configurations, the lid and keyboard backlight shine in Blue, Silver, Red, and Pink.

It is about an inch tall (6-cell model), 14.8 inches wide, and 910.20 inches in depth. It weighs about 5.14 kg with no touch and 5.84 kg with the touch in the 4-cell model. The weight of the 6-cell model is 4.85 kg and 5.51 kg, respectively.

This particular model has a silver-gray exterior and a jet-black panel. The screen size is about 15.6 inches. The brand name "DELL" is printed on the monitor and some of them will have a sticker near the touchpad saying what model it is.
