The SX60 HS was released in 2014 as a high end bridge camera which had the highest zoom levels available at the time. Replacing the previous SX50 HS, the SX60 HS improvements include faster continuous shooting, more zoom, higher resolution, and longer battery life. Features like red eye reduction, face detection, subject tracking auto-focus, and smartphone remote control make the SX60 HS one of the most capable and versatile bridge cameras on the market.
The lens specifications found on the front of the lens read: CANON ZOOM LENS 65X IS, 3.8-247.0mm 1:3.4-6.5 USM.
The SX60 HS was replaced by the SX70 HS in October 2018.
This camera is identified by the name, PowerShot SX60 HS, which is located on top of the camera by the flash.
