Released in 2010, the LG VX5600 Accolade is the 6th model of the LG VX5200 (released in 2005). There have been no recalls on the LG VX5600 Accolade, but the LG company has discontinued manufacturing it.

The LG VX5600 is an entry level phone with a larger keypad, a 2.5mm headphone jack, and a 34MB internal storage space. The phone also supports one-touch speakerphone, speaker-independent voice commands, Internet web browsing with Mobile Web 2.0, and VZ Navigation (through Verizon).

The LG VX5600 is identified from previous models by its gray-blue body color, lighter weight, longer battery life, and new features. The LG VX5600 weighs in at 3.0oz and maintains an increased battery life of 7.7hrs of talk time and 679hrs of standby time. Additionally, the LG VX5600 has a 1.3 Megapixel camera vs. the VGA camera of the LG VX5500 and Bluetooth connectivity with Bluetooth 2.1 EDR vs. Bluetooth 2.0 of the LG VX5500.
