The Lenovo A7 tablet (also called the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 tablet) is a 7-inch Android tablet released by Lenovo in April 2015. The A7-30 tablet was released in two versions, the 3G/Wi-Fi model (MediaTek MT8382M) version, and the Wi-Fi only (MediaTek MT8127) version. Both versions share the model number AB 2 A7-30HC.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 tablet features a 7.0-inch display with a resolution of 600 by 1024 pixels for a screen-to-body ratio of 68.8 percent. It includes a single Mini-SIM card slot and a dedicated microSDHC slot. The tablet comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB with separate microSDHC cards. The Tab 2 A7 includes a 2-megapixel main camera and a VGA selfie camera (a VGA camera is equivalent to 0.3 megapixels). It contains a 3450 mAh non-removable battery, meaning its battery's adhesive is permanent, making repair and replacement more difficult than for removable batteries, but not necessarily impossible. The tablet also includes a microUSB 2.0 port.
The tablet includes the name “Lenovo” printed in white lowercase letters in the center of the tablet’s top front bezel. The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 tablet was released in white, black, blue, and pink body colors.
