Background

The Nokia 6010 was released on both the AT&T and T-Mobile networks in 2004. The phone was popular because it was affordable, nearly indestructible, and had great reception and sound quality, making it a solid choice for an entry-level phone. This phone was the successor of the Nokia 3595; it was styled in the typical Nokia candy bar style and supports a 4,096-color screen and some level of user customization in the format of themes. The phone's memory can store up to 500 contacts (each with 5 numbers).

Some features of the Nokia 6010 are:

  • Text and multimedia messaging

  • AOL instant messaging

  • Voice dialing

  • WAP 2.0 wireless Web browser

Identification
