Paragraph
The Wahl Clipper Corporation is an American company that manufactures grooming products for people and animals. Wahl produces trimmers for beards, mustaches, goatees, the body, ears, nose, and brow. Wahl was founded after Leo J. Wahl’s patent for an electromagnetic hair clipper in 1919 was approved. In 1965, Wahl introduced the first vacuum clipper, which was designed to cut hair without the use of a cape.
In 1967, Wahl produced the first cordless hair clipper using a rechargeable battery. Soon after, the company started an electronics division with the first cordless and rechargeable soldering iron. Wahl also produced the first cordless consumer beard and mustache trimmer in 1984.
A razor is a bladed tool used in the removal of body hair through the process of shaving. There are several types of razors including straight razors, safety razors, disposable razors, and electric razors. The razor has been in existence since before the Bronze Age, but the most common types of modern razors are the safety razor and the electric razor. The electric razor (also called the electric dry shaver) includes a rotating or oscillating blade. Electric razors generally do not require the use of shaving cream, soap, or water. These razors may be powered by a small DC motor which can be powered by either batteries or mains electricity. Many modern razors are powered using rechargeable batteries.
Wahl products are sold in over 150 countries worldwide under the brands Wahl, Moser, Lister, and Groom Ease.
