The Xiaomi Mi 12 is a midrange [[Topic:Android Phone|Android smartphone|new_window=true]] developed by [[Topic:Xiaomi Phone|Xiaomi|new_window=true]]. It was released on December 31, 2021.
The 12 runs on a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset and contains up to 256 GB of internal storage with 12 GB of RAM. The 4500 mAh battery is non-removable, with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 12 comes in four different color options: Gray, Blue, Purple, and Green. Compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi11, the 12 became smaller and therefore offers only a 6.28-inch screen compared to the 6.81-inch on the Mi11. Besides the color options and the size, you can differentiate the Mi11 from the 12 when comparing the camera module designs. The module on the 12 is rectangular while the module of the Mi11 is square with rounded corners. The front-facing camera punch hole sits in the top left corner of the screen on the Mi11 and it was moved to the center on the 12. The Xiaomi 12 can be identified by model numbers 2201123G or 2201123C.
