Released in 2006, Zeroshell was developed to deliver network services through a web interface. It gained popularity for its versatility, including capabilities for VPNs, load balancing, and captive portal access.
Zeroshell was avalable for x86/x86-64 platforms as well as ARM based devices such as the [[Topic:Raspberry Pi Desktop|Raspberry Pi]].
Zeroshell's end of life was announced on April 18, 2021 and security updates were delvered up to September 30,2021.
