Background and Identification

In its first major design refresh since its inception in late 2012, Apple’s 6th generation iPad mini launched on September 24th, 2021 alongside the iPhone 13 lineup. It adopts the boxy all-screen design of the iPad Pro and [[Topic:iPad Air 4|iPad Air 4]], with Touch ID integrated into the top button. The iPad mini 6 drops the lightning port for USB-C, includes second-generation Apple Pencil support, supports 5G, and sports a slightly down-clocked version of the iPhone 13 Pro’s 5-GPU core A15 Bionic.

The mini 6 comes in Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, or Purple, and can be configured with either 64 or 256 GB of internal storage. There are two variants of the iPad mini 6: a Wi-Fi only model and a 5G-enabled version.

The iPad mini 6 starts at $499 and can be identified by model numbers A2567, A2568, A2569, A2645, and A2643 depending on region.
