The iPhone 6's successor, the iPhone 6s (as well as the 6s Plus) was formally announced by Apple on September 9, 2015. Notable features include 3D Touch, Live Photos, the new A9 processor and M9 coprocessor as well as the Taptic Engine, previously only seen in the Apple Watch. The iSight camera is now 12 MP and sports the ability to shoot 4K video while the FaceTime camera has been upgraded to 5 MP.
Repair of this device is similar to previous generations, requiring screwdrivers and prying tools.
The most often replaced iPhone 6s parts include the battery, screen, lightning connector and headphone jack.
You can identify the iPhone 6s by one of the following model numbers etched into the back case:
A1633
A1688
A1700
The iPhone 6s features a glass screen with curved edges. The back case was made entirely from aluminum, with curved edges rather than the flat design found in the iPhone 4 and 5. The power button was moved to the right side of the phone, with the volume and ring/silent switch still on the left. An AUX port can be found on the bottom beside the charging port, and a SIM tray was located on the right side below the power button.
The iPhone 6s can be differentiated from the iPhone 6s Plus by its 4.7 in diagonal screen (relative to the 5.5 in screen of the Plus model).
The iPhone 6s can be differentiated from the iPhone 6 by a small "S" printed on the back of the phone underneath "iPhone".

For colors, you could either have black bezels with a gray anodized back cover, or white bezels with silver, gold, or rose gold anodization.
