== Background ==

The Acer Aspire E1-572G is an all purpose laptop that was released by Acer in December of 2014. It has an aesthetically simple black back cover design with a silver Acer logo on the right-middle side. It also comes preloaded with Windows 8.1. With a fourth-generation Intel core i7-4500U processor that runs at 1.8 GHz, it is meant more for the everyday basic uses than high performance gaming.

Compared to the other laptops within this price range and the specs listed down below, it has decently above average performance, especially if this laptop is only meant for basic functions. The battery can last between 1.5-3.0 hours depending on how you use the laptop. It is on the heavier side of a laptop as it does weigh 5.3 lbs. Being released in 2014, Acer has produced many new and improved models however it is still a good option for an everyday laptop.
